Roop Kumar Rathod

Roop Kumar Rathod is an accomplished playback singer and music director.He is famous throughout Bollywood as an excellent playback singer having also performed extensively with Anup Jalota as a percussionist. He is also an accomplished Ghazal singer and a Tabla Player. Roopkumar was introduced as a playback singer by the music directors Laxmikant - Pyarelal for the Hindi film Angaar 1992. Later, he sang in the Hindi films such as Gumrah( 1993), Raja(1995 ), Naajayaz (1995), Gaddaar (1995), Bhairavi (1996 ), PremGranth (1996 )etc. He got his major breakthrough with the songs "Toh Chalun" and "Sandesein Aate Hain" from the Hindi film Border 1997.
